Degree Globe (degreeglobe.com) is a free platform that helps students discover universities, degree programs and scholarships around the world. Our goal is simple: help a student go from “I want to study X” to a shortlist of real institutions, programs, funding options and official application pages — all in one place.

Degree Globe currently covers 10,137 institutions across 200 countries, with 104 subjects and 40 scholarship programs, and it grows over time as we verify more data.

What we believe

Choosing where to study is one of the biggest decisions a person makes, and students deserve information they can trust. Two principles guide everything we build:

• We never invent data. If a fact isn’t in our verified sources, we say “Not available in our verified sources” rather than guess. Every important field links back to where it came from.
• Data coverage is not university quality. Some institutions have more verified data than others. That reflects what we currently hold — not how good the university is.

Where our data comes from

Degree Globe is built from reputable open datasets — including Hipolabs, Wikidata, ROR, OpenAlex and public government sources — combined through an automated pipeline that normalizes, de-duplicates, enriches and validates records. How we stay free

Degree Globe is completely free for students. We’re funded by advertising — never by paid rankings, sponsored placements, or charging universities to appear. Rankings and placements are not for sale.

We’re independent

Degree Globe is an independent information platform. We are not a university, a government body, or an official application service. Always confirm details on a university’s official website before making decisions or payments.
